DepleteX® Mitochondrial DNA Depletion Kit
Deplete unwanted Mitochondrial reads from DNA or RNA samples.
Mitochondrial reads occupy a large amount of sequencing space in the context of certain sample types and applications. By depleting the mitochondrial reads before sequencing, sequencing reads can be redirected to valuable information that researchers can use. The DepleteX Mitochondrial DNA Depletion kit utilizes a simple CRISPR-based depletion to cleave and remove, before sequencing, unwanted human molecules derived from the mitochondrial nucleic acid. The kit gives researchers the ability to sequence less, yet capture more information from samples with high mitochondrial content.
